Norrsken Foundation & Giva Sverige collaborate with Berghs in 22 pro bono assignments

Today, Berghs graduating students begin their final course with a new format. They'll carry out two projects in parallel; a degree project and a pro bono assignment in interdisciplinary groups of seven or eight people. Berghs has closely collaborated with Giva Sverige for many years. This year, it will also be expanded with the Norrsken Foundation. A selection of assignments has been made to find those who can get the most substantial value from a student team's power and energy.

The companies that have chosen to challenge their communication through this year's degree project are diverse - they range from large Swedish industries, retail, consulting companies and organizations. This year, another 22 pro bono assignments are added and those who have had the honor of being selected are: Friluftsfrämjandet, Just arrived, Civil Right Defenders, RFSL, RFSU, Skålen, OCD-förbundet, Lockero, Mypick, Volta Greentech, Pratham Sweden, The Hunger Project, She for She, Young Cancer, Mealsizer, Barnfonden, Chaintraced, Relate, Asthma och allergiförbundet, Insamlingsstiftelsen Njurfonden, KFUM and Krafthem.
"With everything going on in the world that affects individuals and companies so much, we have wanted to offer extra value by offering lots of pro bono assignments for our students' final project. As a Berghs alumnus, I think it's fantastic that the students get to broaden their views and focus over two assignments," says Lina Kellgren, Berghs' marketing manager.
"That so many of our member organizations get the chance this year to take part in these pro bono assignments is incredibly valuable. For small non-profit organizations, the access to knowledge, creativity and innovation of Bergh's students means an opportunity to create strategic and relevant communication. It's something that organizations wouldn't have the chance to do otherwise," says Charlotte Rydh, Secretary-General of Giva Sweden
"In the past year, Bergh's students have repeatedly shown an enormous empathic ability in projects we have been involved in, which is a crucial part of the creative process. There has been a desire to understand the purpose of the briefs, buy into the situation, make small problems a prime condition and create accordingly. We have seen deliveries with strategic understanding and a creative height. We look forward to more and more collaborations in the future!" says Nina Wenström, Head of Design Norrsken Foundation.
"The collaboration with Berghs is fantastic for our impact startups at Norrsken! Several of them have been looking for a way to take their marketing to the next level. Being assigned a group of skilled communicators from Berghs is invaluable to many of our startups and enables them to create an even more positive impact," says Oskar Malm Wiklund, Member Experience & Tech Norrsken Foundation
To conclude the students' intensive period, Berghs Festival "FROM CHAOS", takes place on 21 and 22 May.
