Metsä Board presents solutions for the circular economy at packaging fairs in autumn

Virgin fibre paperboard is an excellent material for the circular economy. This autumn, Metsä Board, a leading European producer of premium virgin fibre paperboard and part of Metsä Group, is presenting packaging solutions that support this important circular economy. At several trade fairs, the company is demonstrating the potential of paperboard and how it can replace fossil materials as well as reduce the carbon footprint of packaging.

Metsä Board is also showcasing a wide range of packaging applications for its fully recyclable, dispersion-coated barrier board. The company is also addressing the sustainability of lightweight grades, using folding boxboard and white kraftliner as examples to demonstrate how they help reduce material consumption and lower the overall carbon footprint of packaging. Another point of interest at the trade fairs are the ongoing investment projects for growth that the Finnish cartonboard producer is presenting. They are designed to help meet the increasing demand for sustainably produced cartonboard grades.
To promote innovation and accelerate the development of new packaging solutions, Metsä Board will also present its Excellence Centre and the concept of Co-Creation Workshops, which specifically address customer needs. Customer needs are also met with the company's recently launched 360° service concept, which helps customers achieve the highest performance and resource efficiency from lightweight cartons throughout the packaging value chain. This includes sustainability, packaging design, strength optimisation through simulation, converting, printing and more.
Metsä Board will participate in the following exhibitions in autumn 2022:
Fachpack, Nuremberg, Germany, 27-29 September, stand number 7A-136.
Luxe Pack Monaco, 3-5 October, stand number AA02 Hall Atrium
Pack Expo Chicago, 23-26 October, stand number 24010
