Horizon and Ultimate TechnoGraphics Announce Global Partnership

Ultimate TechnoGraphics, leader in imposition and finishing automation is pleased to announce a new addition to its portfolio: Ultimate BestCut. Based on AI algorithms this software solution is designed to automatically plan the best cut sequence and advise the guillotine operator of the cut scenario to follow, it is essentially the best buddy of a Guillotine Operator.

“We are pleased to launch this initiative thanks to the collaboration of Itotec cutting devices”, says Julie Watson, Ultimate TechnoGraphics CEO. “We knew there was a need for this solution in the market for devices that were until now not JDF driven. Devices of the future must be automation driven and customers are making this a requirement to achieve end-to-end workflow.”

Ultimate BestCut is planned to be released in Q4 2023 and available for distribution via Best Graphics, the US distributor for post press and packaging hardware. It is designed initially to work in symbiose with the Itotec paper cutters and is delivered with a manufacturer recommended kit including touchscreen and barcode scanner.
